The thoughts behind the company name
We look up at the same moon and dream the same dreams.
The "R" in "R Space" stands for Rabbit, and "Space" stands for the universe.
If you ask Japanese people, "What comes to mind when you think of rabbits and space?", many will answer "the moon."
Since ancient times in Japan, it has been said that the pattern on the moon resembles a rabbit making rice cakes.
On the other hand, in other countries, it appears in a variety of ways, such as a crab or a woman's profile.
This "Moon Rabbit" is a symbol of Japanese sensibility and imagination.
With this spirit in mind, we, as a Japanese company, will take on the challenges of the world and space.
The reason we chose to write our company name in English is because we want to be a company that can transcend national borders and be recognized not only around the world but also in space.
However, no matter how far we fly, our roots are here in Japan.
When we look up at the moon, the image of a rabbit reflected there reminds us of our hometown.
We put that feeling into this name.
